Lynn had probably left a mark on her cheek by now, since she had been leaning her head on her palm for so long. With the other hand, she absentmindedly stirred her half-empty pink smoothie. She sat in an outdoor seating area of a cafe, and since there were no battles at the mall today it was safe to do so. Lynn watched the pedestrians walk by with their shopping bags and coffee cups, occasionally offering a polite smile when someone glanced her way.

The blue inkling girl pulled her hands away from her drink and face for a moment to readjust her hat before letting both arms fall back onto the table. She once again looked to her smoothie, which had been sitting out here in the sun for quite some time now. It was probably warm by now, but she took a sip anyway. "Okay, that was gross," Lynn mumbled, using one finger to push the offending smoothie across the table.

..................................................................... Zerul Huntsmith (Inkling) Zerul Arrived at the mall. He had won a few matches in a row and needed a break. He stopped by the cafe and got himself a smoothie. had ordered a chocolate smoothie to help him cool off on this warm day. When he payed for the smoothie he also handed his little punch card for the cafe. The clerk punched the 10th spot which means Hunter had earned a free smoothie. Once he finished paying for the smoothe he heads outside the cafe. Once outside he started drinking his smoothie. Its about this time he heard a voice. "Ok that was gross." He looks over at another Inkling pushing away her half full cup. He looks down at the free smoothie ticket in his hand. Wanting to be nice he walks over to her, and puts the free smoothie ticket in front of her. "I can always get another free one later. Have this one."

Lynn was caught off guard when the stranger approached and placed the ticket down in front of her. She examined it for a moment, and then seeing what it was, she glanced up and smiled. "Oh, thanks!" Lynn picked up the ticket and sure enough, it had been punched in ten times. "Are you sure you're alright with giving this to me?" It certainly was a generous thing to do, since they'd just met. Then again, the boy seemed like an experienced battler, and good battlers usually weren't short on money.

..................................................................... Zerul Huntsmith (Inkling) Zerul smiles when she asked about having it. "Yes go ahead i can always get another free one later" He rubs the back of his head embarrased. he then jolts on the spot realizing he had walked up to this person without introducing himself. "I'm sorry where are my manners. My name is Zerul Huntsmith." As he waits for her reply he take a sip of his smoothie.

"Oh, that's alright. My name's Lynn. It's nice to meet you, and thanks for the smoothie!" She carefully stood up from her seat with the free smoothie ticket in her hand. "Uh.. I'll just go redeem this. Be right back!" Despite feeling rude about stepping away, Lynn quickly left to get a free smoothie, this time a chocolate one. Once she returned, she sat back down at the table with her new drink. There was an empty seat across from her, so Lynn assumed the other inkling would sit down if he wanted to. "You look like you just got through battling."

"Your welcome Lynn." he stepped aside so she could get up. he watches her head inside for her free smoothie. He sits down at the table she was at. Then he waits for her to return. After a minute she returns with a chocolate smoothie. She sits down in her chair that was across the one he was sitting at. When she sat down she spoke first. "You look like you just got through battling." Hunter chuckles. "It's that obvious? Yea was on a good streak with my splatterscope, but i wanted to take a break for a bit. What about you? From the way you were sitting there and that red mark on your cheek like you have been sitting here for most of the morning." He shifts the mask a bit before taking another sip of his smoothie.

Lynn took a sip of her chocolate smoothie while Zerul spoke. A splatterscope user? Interesting. She generally didn't like meeting them on the battlefield if they were on the enemy team. Lynn was suddenly pulled from her thoughts when he mentioned the mark on her cheek, and she couldn't help but feel embarrassed about it. "Uh.. yeah," she replied with a nervous smile. "I have been here for a while. It's been a quiet day. I haven't been in any battles today, guess I just wanted a short break." She took another drink from her smoothie, not really wanting to mention the loosing streak she'd been on earlier.

..................................................................... Zerul Huntsmith (Inkling) Zerul chuckles. "It's ok. I was having a great day today, but usually i do really badly...well yes and no. I can hold an area for a bit, but without team support that's all i can do." He drinks a bit more of his smoothie. "If you need a break. Then you need a break no harm is doing nothing for a day...so long as you have money to last the day."

"That's pretty common for people that use chargers, I think," Lynn replied, setting down her drink. "You rely a lot on your teammates. Then again, everyone needs good teammates no matter what weapon they're using." She once again rested the side of her head onto her palm. "I have enough to get by. At least, enough I can take a break every now and again. It helps that turf wars are so fun." She used her straw to stir around her smoothie before taking another sip.

..................................................................... Zerul Huntsmith (Inkling) Zerul thinks about what she said. "True. Very true, but at the same time the chances of getting more than one Charger is slim. your more likely to get two rollers or two Splattershots." he drinks his smoothie and realizes he is nearly done. "To be honest the true potential of a Charger is not rewarded. Chargers are good at taking out high threats at range. Unfortunately splatting someone like that does nothing beneficial to you or your team. Other than the fact the person is sent back to spawn of course." he takes off the mask and adjusts the strap. She could see his Blue eyes as he did this. "Dang thing. i sear the Octolings have much larger heads than us" once he fixes the strap he puts it back on.

"Tell me about it. I've been the only shooter on a team of rollers before.." Lynn replied, smiling a bit at the memory. "Chargers my not always be the best in turf wars, but in ranked battles they're a lifesaver. They're generally more effective since you need to worry about splatting the enemy more than inking turf." Lynn usually went for regular turf wars, but she liked a match of Rainmaker every now and again.

Lynn then noticed Zerul taking off his helmet, and she caught her first sight of his eyes. "They probably do. Where'd you get that, anyway?"

..................................................................... Zerul Huntsmith (Inkling) Zerul chuckles when she mentioned that she was on a team of all rollers. "I know exactly how you feel. Its a bad trade off. great coverage, but very exposed when they do that. I have picked off a team of all rollers once, and they didn't hesitate to try and ambush me." He nods in agreement when she states Chargers are far better in ranked matches than unranked. When she asked where he got the mask he rubs the back of his head. "Well about that. Im a tinkerer. I Really like tinkering around with old war stuff. try and make something out of the broken parts i get from Urchin. Sometimes he finds some rarer stuff and offers to sell them to me. He may not be the easiest to bargin with, but the stuff he sells are quite rare. This mask is Octarian which isn't sold in normal store...atleast not yet, but he found two of these masks. I got one of them for about 20,000. Its a decent mask for what it is. My favorite part of the mask is the bomb tracker. It has saved my behind many a times"

Lynn couldn't help but laugh at Zerul's story. It seemed they'd both had similar experiences. She went back to drinking her smoothie while Zerul explained the origins of his mask. "Sounds useful. The bomb tracker, I mean." She leaned back in her chair to take on a more relaxed position. "I think there's starting to be a lot more Octarian equipment floating around. Dunno how it compares to our regular equipment though."

"I think there's starting to be a lot more Octarian equipment floating around. Dunno how it compares to our regular equipment though." He thinks for a bit before answering. "True. If i had to say how it compares...I guess Military equipment would be more accurate." He finishes his smoothie, and puts down the cup. "But from the stories that appear around these equipment...I guess that is to be expected."

Lynn tried to take another sip before she noticed she had finished her smoothie as well. With a shrug, she set it aside. "I guess that makes sense." Lynn hadn't been in contact with many octarians yet, but from what she understood they were very militaristic. "What kinds of stories do you mean?" she asked curiously, crossing her arms on the table in front of her.
