This forum is using the monetary system and monetary shop plugins.
Every weapon available in Splatoon has been listed in the shop. You can purchase them with currency earned from posting.
Since FTG operates on a one account per person rule, once you purchase a weapon from the shop all of your characters are permitted to use it.
When creating a new character, you get to choose a starting weapon for them. This can be anything currently available in Splatoon. Upon the completion of your form, it will be gifted to you for free (you'll find it as a little present icon in the bottom left corner of the screen).
